First is complete disassembly of the tramp frame and castings (and I mean complete to every rivet and fitting) and get all the pieces reanodized. This is very expensive and time consuming. Probably not worth the $$$ on the boats most of us own (in fact a new/used boat would probably be cheaper). Number two is Krylon automotive paint. I've heard this recommended by several folks as a cheap alternative that works reasonably well, and it does improve the looks of the boat until you get your nose within about 4 inches of the repaired area.
