Precautions When using PolyurethanesBy Barry BeuershausenWhen refinshing hulls, remember that polyurethanes (Imron, etc.) are DEADLY under the right conditions. Painters who paint Imron wear "air suits" as well as respiratiors under pressure because of the fumes. All fumes are harmful, but some are REALLY harmful.....be careful. Talk to someone (who is still breathing) about the precautions you should take with the particular paint you're using. Barry Beuershausen |
