Wind Conditions: Good Water Conditions: Good Launch facilities: Good Beach conditions: Good Traffic conditions: Good Safety: Excellent Charges: Park entrance fee $5.00 About the place: Lake Lewisville is located just off Interstate 35 in the suburb city of Lewisville just 20 miles north of Dallas. Sailing is at Hobie Point which has been used by Hobie Fleet 23 for over 25 years. The park has camping facilities, restrooms, beach launching and good security. Local Hobie sailors leave their boats at the lake over the weekend in the summer months. Boats cannot be left overnight on weekdays. In the spring and summer months there are approx. 10 to 30 boats each weekend with many impromptu beach parties and activities.
