Wind Conditions: Good Water Conditions: Good Launch facilities: Excellent Beach conditions: Good Traffic conditions: Good Safety: Poor Charges: About the place: Their is a public launch next to the Pier 44 restaurant in Scituate Harbor. The launch is wide and paved. Once out of the harbor, you will have a lot of fun putting your boat to its max. limit. I have only been in the winter months so I do not know how crowded it gets during the summer. The only danger is the lobster boats, they are not very friendly and have never given me the right of way. In addition, the water can get down near the 30s so make sure you can right real quick. The town is nice with a lot of great restaurants. Directions: Hanover exit off of rt. 3 take right at Pontiac dealership. Take right onto 123. Stay on 123 until you hit Scituate Harbor. Go Through the town and take a right at the first light. The ramp is next to Pier 44.(Get directions from yahoo maps) If you see a black miata with a Hobie 16 say hi to me. Sven..
