Popular windsurfer area. Launch ramp is very rough concrete, and is tough on boat and trailer. Beach launching is also available, but can be muddy if lake is low. Suggest beach launching only if lake is specified to be at 80% capacity or more. Nice camping areas. Overnight beaching is okay, but specify campsites "Grizzly" #5,6,7 or 8 to keep your boat in sight from the campsite. Take 101 freeway to Arroyo Grande, follow signs to "Lopez Lake".
