Wind Conditions: Excellent Water Conditions: Excellent Launch facilities: Excellent Beach conditions: Good Traffic conditions: Good Safety: Good Charges: None About the place: During the summer months the wind normally blows right off the beach (from the SE or SW) giving you a beam reach up and down the ICW. Strong consistent wind is also the norm. The sound is very wide giving you plenty of other areas to sail other than the channel. Sail at high tide to ensure maximum water depth when not sailing in the channel. The water is warm and plenty of boats to help if there is trouble. Use the public boat launch access at the Chamber of Commerce building on Hwy 70 east. See you there!
