1980s Hobie16 FREE FOR HAULING Chicago area

This is an early 1980’s Hobie16 ready for some reconditioning or scrap for parts.  The units served well for at least 10 years of family fun, but hasn’t been used since 2020.

Hulls in good condition. Tramp is solid.  Rigging and other ropes have mildew from sitting outside unused for 6 years. Sails are worn with a few pin holes.  Has a spare jib of Tequila Sunrise color as well as OG jib.

Will drive to meet somewhere closeby to NW surburbs

NOTE:  Rocket Trailer is good to go – Tires are great.

Only problem I know of is a neighbor kid crashed his bike into the rudder and snapped it.
