September 6th & 7th 2014Notice of Race
1 Rules The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing.
2 Classes Open to any one design catamaran 21' in length or less, that completes registration with the organizing authority. The current US Sailing Portsmouth handicap yardstick table for multi hulls will be used for handicap fleet scoring.
Low Portsmouth Fleet will consist of at least 2 boats.
High Portsmouth Fleet will consist of at least 2 boats.
One design classes will consist of at least 5 boats, will be scored in addition to the Portsmouth fleet scoring, and shall start with appropriate Portsmouth fleets.

Registration LNYC Pavilion 8.00 is to 10.00am
Competitors meeting 10.30 am
1st warning signal 12.00 noon
Additional races to follow as time and weather allow
Dinner & Raffle 6.30 pm
Sunday September 9Th
1st warning signal 10.00 am
No warning signal after 1.00 pm
Awards ASAP after last race at LNYC pavilion
4 Scoring Low point scoring system as amended by the sailing instructions. Completion of one race constitutes a regatta. Boats in any fleet completing 4 or more races will have their worst score excluded.
5 Sailing Instructions Available at registration or online@ www.lnyc.org.
6 Penalties Rule 44.1 is changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty is replaced by the One-Turn Penalty.
7 Fees: 1 person boat $45.00 (includes 1 dinner)
2 person boat $55.00 (includes 2 dinners)
Registration after September 1st: $55 1 person boat, $65 2 person boat
$5.00 Discount if US Sailing member on board
Extra Dinners $12.00 each
No dinner deduct $12.00 per dinner -- Kids under 10: $8 -- LNYC gas grilles available
