MUDDY WATERS REGATTA
MAY 24TH-26TH 2019
NOTICE OF RACE
1 Rules - The regatta will be governed by the rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing 2017-2020.
2 Classes - Open to any Catamarans including A-Class, Hobie, Nacra and other open catamarans that completes registration with the organizing authority
3 Schedules
- Friday May 24th
Registration – CSA Observation Building 9.00am to 10.00am
Competitors meeting 10.00 am
1st warning signal11:30 am
Additional races to follow as time and weather allow Dinnerto follow after racing
- Saturday May 25th
1st warning signal 11:00 am
Additional races to follow as time and weather allow
The grills will be fired up. Bring your own item to grill. Drinks will be provided.
- Sunday May 26th
1 st warning signal 11:00 am
No warning signal after 3:00 pm
Awards ASAP after last race at CSA Observation Building
4 Scoring - Low point scoring system as amended by the sailing instructions. Completion of one race constitutes a regatta. Boats in any fleet completing 5 or more races one throw out, 9 or more races 2 nd throw out.
5 Sailing Instructions - Available at registration
6 Fees - $40.00 USD Entry, boats with crew additional $10.00- includes food and beverages
7 Registration – Regatta Network or In Person at Registration http://www.regattanetwork.com/event/18001
8 Accommodations – Free tent camping on site and showers available at CSA. RV parking available in Hazlet Campground. Hotels nearby. 9 Awards – Will be determined by number of classes and boats in class.
