All day event
Description:
Hilton Head Island, South Carolina held the Hobie 16 Nationals with 133 boats in 1975. This year we are preparing for the 50th Anniversary Multi Hull Regatta in 2025 with a Test N Tune event to bring back Atlantic Ocean beach front multi-hull regattas to Hilton Head Island’s 14 mile incomparable beachfront. The Tiki Hut is the perfect location for this event, and we would love to attract a strong fleet the last weekend in October for this year’s 2024 Regatta. Hosted by the South Carolina Yacht Club, you can register at Regatta Network.com. We will race a long distance race and buoy races with all the usual food, drinks, and outstanding gifts and prizes. Coligny Circle is the hub of fun on Hilton Head Island and the perfect location for a regatta on the East Coast. The Beach House Resort and The Tiki Hut beach front bar have undergone a 14 million dollar renovation and are the perfect location for this event. Come on.

Sailing regattas
Recently moved to Hilton Head and looking to get back involved with a sailing community in a support roll. I raced competitively on Lake Michigan for 13 years as a bowman of a 36’ C&C and a custom Wylie 40. 12 Chicago to Mackinac races under my belt.
Retired from sailing in 2002 to do the kids sports thing but now that I am living here on the island would love to get back involved. The multi hull racing has so much potential here.
