Description:
42 Nautical Miles of racing around Anacapa Island and an oil platform. This is similar to the Tri-Point except is goes counter-clockwise around these "marks" and is a longer race. The final run from Anacapa is a beam-ish reach just offshore back to Ventura Harbor.
Start is upwind headed out to sea for about 6 miles, then bear off to port for the run to Anacapa Island. Take the Island to port and head towards shore until you can round the east end of the Island and then gybe north along the shore back up to Ventura Harbor. You will be racing through the windiest parts of the Channel. PHRF racing for all cats 18 feet or longer.
