Diagram showing how to reeve Harken 8:1 Low Profile Main System

I don't know why I listen to my crew (A.K.A. My younger brother).

Just a day and a half before a 4 day trip up the Chesapeake Bay,he decides that the reeving on my 8:1 is done wrong...and pulls all of the line off the blocks. icon_eek

Problem now, I can't find a diagram showing the proper reeving instructions for my 8:1 main sale block system.. icon_confused

All help appreciated!

I really don't want to have to sail without my blocks or only use a 4:1 or 6:1 on my Hobie 18 magnum.

Can you make sense of this:

murrays,com has pics
you can call harken, they will email you diagrams
even if you reeve it wrong.. it still will work fine.. just you will lose x % in pull strength.. not much. in the long term... you dont want chafe.. (at all)
Depends on the blocks you have (I've got no idea the default for your boat). Here's a pic of an 8:1.

I'd just lay them on something flat, rotate one 90 degrees to the other, and start feeding the line through where it lines up...so to speak.

Nope but that is the block setup I have.
LOL, if I was not so visually/mentally challenged I could try your method...but I only have a day to get it done.

Surprisingly, Harken does not the 8:1 diagram on their website.

Thanks Anyway.
