The Hobie 16 class featured in the 2010 Charlotte Harbor Regatta is generating a ton of enthusiasm among sailors from California to the Cayman Islands, from the Northeast to the Midwest. Of course, traveling with a Hobie in midwinter means getting it out of storage or dug out from snowbanks. So we have at least a dozen requests for Hobie 16 charters. What does that mean for you? A chance to make money chartering your Hobie 16 for three days. Think about it, you and a Hobie buddy trailer both cats here for the regatta, charter out one of them and race the other and your trip is half paid for. If you live in Florida and have a Hobie available, a three-day charter could be a cash cow that could score you a new sail, tramp or rigging.
