Hpbie 3.5/ Monocat

I have heard that the mast base for the Hobie 3.5 is the same as the Hobie Monocat. Does anyone know of a monocat being parted out? I really need that piece or I am going to have to trash my boat.
Thanks
NO but I know a guy in Midway, Utah who is selling a hobie 3.5 for $450

I have talked to him and he just had the Sail refurbished and has everthing to sail it. I was unsure on as to weather the stock rudders were the same as the 14 and 16 so the rudders may have been cobbled together from one of those. I would buy it myself except I have to many broken down vehicles I have to fix first.

If Utah was not so far away I might go look at the boat but that is kind of a long haul for me. Thanks for the info though. I think my boat has 14 rudders on it now. The stock rudders were a rectuangular mahagony blade.
Do you or someone you know have a "Trashed Cat"? Now is the time to act!! Help them out by telling them to sell me thier old 3.5 or mono cat mast base and maybe even thier battens. We (meaning me and my 12 year old) will pat TOP DOLLAR (and "dollar" with no "s" fits right into my budget) for these seemingly worthless pieces of scrap. Don't miss the boat!! If you cat now we might even buy some more stuff from you/them as well.

Are you sure it's 14? I've got to see a picture of that, I've found that after the first dozen rudders it's hard to get an accurate count. icon_lol

Sorry, return to your topic.
