Since winter winter has put a halt to sailing for most of us it's time to consider what can be done to make the next season even better.
The only thing on my list right now is to install cradles on my CatTrax, but after that 30 minutes is finished I don't know how I'll spend the other three months!
Come on over, Damon! I've got hot pizza, cold beer, and two 1982 Prindle 18 hulls to refinish with you!
Some questions(and this is just one day into the project):
A. What do you guys think about "bedding" your crossbeams when I go back together? Like with clear or white sylicone, maybe. Would I ever be able to get it apart later? I think one joint on my boat was loose when I got the boat.
B. I was quoted a price of $380 for a gallon of Omni PPG MTK Acrylic Urethane topcoat, a gallon of MP182 2K Urethane Surfacer primer, plus a quart for each of reducer/hardener/Idontknow additive. Is this a good price, and is this a good thing to paint my boat with? I don't mind paying a little more than rock-bottom if this is good stuff, cause I'm gonna bug the hell out of these folks till I'm done I think.
Im cuting the rusted rear beam off my trailer & adding some expanded metal to make a deck platform to store campn goodies under the cat, maybe a place for a kayak or sail tube to ride.
I am also curious about bedding the cross beams. When I took my prindle apart you could see where water was sitting between hull& crossbeam causeing corrosion , lime buildup on the threads.Makes me worried about freeze/thaw in winter storage. My main concern is the rear crossbeam it has some cut away areas that seem to be a problem, the water gets in and isnt draining out.
I pulled the term from long-range shooting, where the rifle barrel is bonded (bedded) to the forestock to reduce movement and therefore increase accuracy.
In this case I was refering to the idea of a layer of sylicone inbetween the hull and the crossbeam to increase stiffness and eliminate chafe...when I pulled off my crossbeams there was a layer of very fine sand in every spot where the two surfaces did not match perfectly; with every flex, no matter how minor, the sand was wearing and forcing the joint into looseness, also with corrosion as nitrodub pointed out. I'm just worried about sepparating the parts the next time I need to. I don't want to tear out the 'glass at the joint.
Damon, should I be posting all this in the "tech" section? Please feel free to move to wherever I can get the help I so badly need. Is there a "fiberglass/paint guy" in the house?
One thing that I have already done (more of a fall project) was clear out the cove that I sail out of of rip rock.Over the years people have placed large rip rocks on top of their anchors to help hold their boat over night.Kids and adults have hurdler rip rock into this cove too.Now that the water level is so low from this very dry summer,my favorite cove looked like a mine field of rock.So I went over there with my new wheel barrow(with two front wheels) and a friend and moved 72 loads of rock out off the shallow water and all the exposed rocks too.
The fishermen might complain about this but when I sail into or out of this small cove I don't "bump" into anything that could scratch my boat .Paynetown Recreation Area ,outside of Bloomington,IN is a better place to sail out of.Launch your boat at this cove by where they rent large party boats...Bill 404 21SE
I'm thinking of selling my trailer, as it just takes up space & have never used it since bringing the boat home. After experimenting with the seadoo lift to hold my cat I will now fabricate what worked best out of metal. The wood beams float the cradle, so I had to tie weights on it to keep it sunk when the Cat was off. Worked, but not as convenient as I want it.
My original sails are going to the loft to have UV strip put on the jib, & a tear in the bolt rope are fixed. I pulled off the traveler to wash out as it seems to be binding, & I replaced the traveler cleat & put the stolen parts back on my Invitation. I also picked up some sail repair tape during the pass through Carpenteria, Ca. I see signs of the sailsbattens rubbing on the shrouds, so I want to run a wear strip along each batten that touches.
I'm ordering some new hi tech line to lace the rear of the tramp.
Biggest project is going to be removing the paint that was used on the lower 1/2 of the hulls & buffing them back to original. The paint starts to chelate & everytime you brush the hull now you get it on you.
Only 3 months Damon? Lucky guy, we are stuck till the end of April, unless you want to go the drysuit route.

--Miz B's bottom is osmosing or rather I think it's paint blistering from the trailer bunks retaining water, so that needs to be solved. I'm contemplating using the marine felt stuff (http://www.sailrite.com/Boat-Blanket-Fabric-Gray-72) rather than carpet, for the bunks, and I'm really thinking about sending the boat over to Donnie Brennan for the bottom job, since I did the last one myself. I'm prolly gonna grow a third tit from all these chemicals, at least Jay'll be happy about that.
--The bow eye is rusty and probably leaks. I'm not sure how the Hell to reach it, since it's behind the crash bulkhead, way in the bow of the boat. (hence the name 'bow eye.') Jay will likely be put on that one. He's taller, anyway.

And for the cool stuff--
In the winter, I work on RC sailboats. I have a few footies to fix, one to finish and a 48"x48" all carbon fiber trimaran to finish by New Years.
I also have to figure out how to splice line. I've been meaning to learn for years, but haven't needed to until now. That should drive me crazy.
I mentioned I needed a bow light, right? So I found this kewl little LED light that I've been waiting to replace the incandescent original with. The problem is that this little light is somewhat oval, and the original is circular. The way my light mounts is astraddle the pulpit railing.
So I've got to fabricate a new light fixture. So what I'm thinking is to mould up another half-oval, or half-egg shape to straddle the pulpit rail. Imagine an egg cut lengthwise, I guess, and the two halves will meet across the rail.
So, I hit on the 'genius' idea to take the bubble pack the new light comes in and fill it with microlight filler/epoxy and make the fixture. OK. So I mix up this super thick, nigh crumbly mix of microlite and epoxy and go to scooping it into my mould.
If you're familiar with epoxy, you're laughing really hard right about now.
In any case, I don't think twice about what I'm doing, and jam this about 2"x3"x1/2" little bit of plastic pack full of microlight and epoxy bog.
You see, what happens with a great lot of mixed epoxy... welll... the epoxy reaction is exothermic, really really exothermic. So a clump of this stuff is gonna get real hot. I knew that, but I thought that since I put in sooo much microlight, the effect would be to 'thin' the epoxy, as though it were spread.
So here I am with my little half-egg, and I'm trying to get the bog in, and it begins to heat up and expand. I'm holding this thing in my hand, and it's smoking, and expanding, and bubbling, and I'm freakin' out and trying to get the mixture back into the mould which unbelievably hasn't melted, and then I get the genius idea to run madly for the kitchen to get ice, and I'm screaming for my husband who thinks I've killed myself, but I really only wanted a third hand to make an ice slurry into which to throw this frickin' BOMB I've created...
Thankfully, he gets there and grabs the whole ice box thingie and dumps it onto me and the work. But hey, it saved the mould....

I should have the new tramp in a few weeks and will painting the mast over the T-giving weekend.
Pretty excited about this boat, it has "good bones' and a great wardrobe of sails. Hope to have it back on the water in February.
Have to have a furling jib for the P18, will use existing jib to save on $$$. Plan to measure the luff on the jib and then order a new forestay to those measurements, will need a pigtail or upper forestay and a 10 hole stay adjuster. Have the harken furler drum and swivel, will need to upgrade to hi-load bearings as per eddchris177 in tech gallery, thanks Captain Edd.
Other than that, the other winter project is to complete my album on the P18, pics on how good she cleaned up with poliglow, how good the new tramp from slo-sails looks and how I built a new solo mast step setup with a mast with diamond wires.
Polish, polish, polish! Tired of getting the white chalk on me every time I brush the side of the boat. Replace bungee for right rudder that has ED. Sails to loft for repair, cleaning, graphics. Shave some weight off of driver and crew. Maybe get around to registering the boat and putting those hideous letters on the bows

I have a similar problem. My current "project" is to find a new wet suit so that I can sail on those chilly January days when the temperature doesn't get out of the 60's. Problems. Problems.
i painted mine last year, got 2 quarts, painted 2 medium coats, had a 1/2 qt left over. probably could have gotten 1 more coat. used this paint, no primer required, 39$ per qt, 14$ for reducer.

the supermarine revolution is a new technology(hybrid resin) so not that much data like on awlgrip and interlux and so on. but it doesn't require a primer if over gelcoat/glass saving a prime coat /sand pass. any quality marine topside paint will do if applied proper. i am going to do some keel glass/epoxy this offseason and touch up with my left over material. you shouldn't need more than 2 qts of top coat for your project, a gallon will leave much left over.

My winter project is too find the dang leak in my starboard hull. It has baffled me. Also move jib leads, restitch the tramp, remove the middle pipe, paint and dare I say it yes I dare a squaretop main. Also a barberhauler, I have found this summer that choking the jib down was my biggest problem.
Fixing up trailers. I'm tired of rusty U bolts, hitches and good cat hulls riding on rollers - so adding paint, stainless steel parts, and cradles.
Also trying to tackle the sail-tube-box problem. Got a length of 15" PVC, but it's HEAVY. I'd like to mount it offset it on my 4' wide trailer, and leave room for a cargo platform, but don't want all that weight off the centerline. Been thinking of using Sonotube instead, after sealing it with fiberglass and epoxy. Or... build a box out of wood....can't decide. Will get the trailers built up and cradles made first, tho.
I used a 14" round by 10'2"aluminum spiral duct work for my 21SE trailer. One end is sealed and the other end has a custom made locking end cap. This sail tube was made in 1989 and still looks brand new today. On my 16 trailer,I fabricated a sail storage box out of 1/8" aluminum tread plate. It too looks brand new today and it is 17 years old(I think). As you know ,aluminum is very light and requires no paint at all.
Be careful using stainless steel parts next to steel parts.Being dissimilar metals they will corrode quickly without a barrier (piece of rubber gasket) to separate them.I did a 16 trailer back in 1985 and used stainless bolts and other custom made stainless parts that corroded in less than a year.Today I use gasket tape between the steel frame of a trailer and the aluminum tread plate that I cover my trailers with.Aluminum and stainless should never touch steel without some kind of membrane separating them.
Good luck,Bill 404 21SE
We'll probably paint/gel the P19 hulls this winter. All other sailing boats are pefect! My real winter project is a Glastron Jetflite 1970. http://www.jetflite.blogspot.com
It might be an interesting read, BUT, the blue water background renders the text invisible.

WHA? Thanks for letting me know, this is the first I heard someone can't read it, Can I ask your OS and browser? I have a 1000 page views and no complaints, so I'm curious. Thanks!
It must have been a glitch in my computer, (latest Firefox & Opera). When I originally clicked the link the background water filled the frame. The text was nearly the same color & was invisible.
I just tried it again & the darker blue background, containing the pics & text now appears. making it very readable. Nice writeup of your project, makes my winter works look like childs play...that transom... one fistful of power & it was gone.
Thanks

Progress report! We now have the hulls ready for the gel-coat and buffing. There were a lot of little dings, chips, cracks and a few half a$$ repairs done by the previous owner. I'll post picks of the finshed product next week.
Dings - lots of dings

Now I know how Mike Holmes feels when he gets a job where it was not done right the first time
i guess i am looking to put a spin/genny set up on. then some wings. but............ MOST of all..... trying to line up my calender with some of the sweetest looking BABES that will sail with me...
funny that my old H18 is NOT really a "lay on the on the front with your bra off boat BUT" it's kinda cool when it happens though...
My first job this winter was getting the cat into the storage from the small beach where we stayed last fall.
See my pictures in the " situations" section......
Winter kicked in pretty early this year and quit hard. Was away for work for a couple of days when it came.
The small beach is prohibited for cars, so I had to push it on the cat-track a mile and a half trough fresh snow walls and slippery frozen mud trials. It's safe now ! Next year I'll buy a 4x4 cat.
JohnES, Those hulls look better than factory! It definitely shows that you invested a lot of time in the prep. Nice work!
I have a project that I'm starting this winter as well. I recently inherited a Sol Cat 18 from my in-laws. It's been sitting on my parents property for almost six months now because every time I look at her I see the endless hours of work and $$ that it's going to take to get her back up to snuff. But I've set my mind to it that she's coming down to the work shop next month to be stripped down and re-painted. Any advice on things that I should focus on... besides all of it? LOL! This is the first and only cat I've ever owned or sailed so I'm excited to get it ready for the spring but don't want to half a$$ it.
It is a rolling list I have been adding to all summer, but avoided completing some things by patching things or making due. Life is too short for not sailing on good wind days.
Rudder Blades:
Cross bar (replace) aluminum round with 7/8th ID must be 1/8" wall minimum
Tiller extension 105"
Spares - Get some (happy with Hobie blank cut for stock Prindle castings)
Sand, Fair, and Gel-coat
Dagger Boards:
Glass repair - Sand Fair, and Gel-coat just the lower tips (minor damage).
Hulls:
Sand Fair from end to end and Gel-coat just the bottoms.
Tramp
Remove tramp, Re-stich (did a fine job last year) new machine will do even better.
Main
Repair Leach bottom, remove hand sewing and replace with 9 oz Dacron patch up to the upper feed, about 18"
Bring by North Sails and discuss reefing options. (consider the top sheave, and the halyard line)
Replace tell tails where missing
Jib
Repair Luff near zipper. may require glue of some type (see North for advice)?
Develop 1/2 size jib for strong weather, 30% foot, 80% leach and 90% luff.
Remake current MX Jib w/o window using existing as template.
Cradles:
Sand, fair, and gel-coat, remount with carriage bolts.
Clothing or Gear
Harness: Get a full nappy like Gill, Murray's is looking kinda getho
Gloves: Gill 7772 extreme sailing gloves
E-Perb - If you sail in the winter, no-one is coming by to help when you break your arm.
Main Sheet:
Upgrade 8:1 $400 (should reduce locking cleat, and subsequent swimming.)

As I don't have access to my cat during the winter. I will only be doing small projects and planning the larger projects for when the spring comes.
-Find a full wet suit for a reasonable price.
-Make some end caps.
-Add tell tales to sails.
-Work out how to complete the addition of a hooter.
-Find/order some good pulleys to complete the hooter set-up.
-Add mast rotation cam cleat to boom.
-Add cam cleat, pulley for main foot tension.
-Design make strap for loose clew foot tension boom slide.
-Re-gelcoat bottom of keel.
-Wash main.
This was just a very temporary setup for fit.
Learn to sail :)

I am picking up a "garage find" this weekend, a 1981 Hobie 16 and trailer. This boat has been in storage for 20 years. I have yet to see it but I am hopeful that it is in fine shape or repairable shape. So this boat will be my winter project.
I already have an "81 Hobie 16 and a '89 Hobie 21SE. My 16 year old daughter doesn't really understand that her dad is getting a third boat.

@ JohnES, nice work! Did a similar job on my P18-2 last spring. Still don't know how to post pics in a message,
otherwise I could show you some of my work.
My winter projects are:
-Sail the cat till the lake freezes over.
-Learn to sail her faster, 2 weeks ago an experienced catamaran crack (12 times round texel race! ) came with me
on a 4-5 Bf trip. Man, I learned more in one afternoon than the whole summer sailing solo.
Learned to sheet in even harder, how to use downhaul on the main better and the setting of the mast rotation.
Also learned to cope with gusts using the helm and less main-sheet. A real eye-opener!
- This winter I am gonna upgrade the mainsheet blocks in 8to1, for a more precise control.
- Replace the old pocket from the tramp with 2 slightly larger ones. My neighbour's Dart 18 has a "2 stories" pocket,
bottom store has zipper to the bows storing the halyards, lines, etc. Upper store has a zipper to the back storing coffee, sandwiches, drinks, flares and a vhf. If only I could find the mesh cloth......
- Repair the spinnaker, it has a tear in the bottom leech.
- Sort out the snuffer-system, lines get tangled and the spi won't go back into the snufferbag without a struggle.
- Get the "space" out of the ruddersystem, when I move the tiller there's always a space of 1 or 2 centimetre
before the rudders move. Its an old cat, so changing the bolts on the crosbar and tiller-connection for slightly
larger ones should help.
- The usual fairing of rudders and daggerboards, there's always some dents on the front after a season.
Bill, I know what you mean. I've got three cats myself. A few years ago my wife and I took a nice road trip to Ohio to pick up a Hobie 16 just because the sails had the same colors as our 5.7.(See my avatar). My daughter threatened an "intervention" for my "addiction". Since then she has been my crew in our fleet races. Here's what happens when you hit a 4ft boat wake rounding "A" mark before you have a chance to uncleat the main. The reason for three boats??? It's FUN!!!
Nice sail colors, my first 16 was a new one in "85 with those White Prism sails too. # 86264 sails.
I upgraded to my 21SE in '89 and traded in my 16 only losing $100 in the trade in. Four years of hard sailing and losing $100, what a deal!
The boat, a Wave, is still beside the house and not disassembled and put under the deck. I'm toying with going to the Nationals in Key Largo. If I do I need a new sail and a new set of battens built, tapered, matched, ends installed and painted. The materials are in the mail and in my garage. Guess I should do the rudders too. Busy for the next couple of weeks.
Apparently my theory on the colored hulls not failing was wrong.
We were sailing in a distance race on October 1. Wind was 18-20 and gusty, bay was choppy. We almost capsized (75~80 degrees of heel) with 470 lbs of crew.
7 miles out, on a broad reach, the boat was slowing down, handling funny and then tried to pitchpole. We dumped the jib, no effect, dumped main, bow came back up slowly. My crew (dad) and I looked at each other and said at the same time "the port hull is full of water". We tried to tack back to the beach but the leeward hull was still filling, and killed our momentum, so I gybed, it was a little busy in the back office, and I managed to slow the boom down by letting the main sheet hit my life jacket. Didn't hurt, and kept some stress off the rig. That put the flooded hull to windward, and we stayed on the leeward side of the boat, sailed for an hour, and made it back.
When we got to the beach, I popped the inspection port and saw that we had about 3 inches of air space left in the hull. The boat was still in water, but I pulled the plug to get some weight off so we could get wheels under it. The flow of water blew the plug out of my hand, and off the tether. 45 minutes to drain hull after we got it on the beach.
Took boat home rinsed it off, then inspected boat found cracks in both hulls at forward beam, port hull had crack at aft beam and in top of dagger trunk. We also had some delamination, behind daggers. We were going to beef up the forward beam, fix delamination, paint boat, and perform IRAN this winter.
Found two white hulls from an '88 on CL for a decent price, bought them, sold my hulls to a guy building an electric boat(????) so now I am going to fix forward beams, some cosmetic issues, and rebuild.
pirateboy dont paint your hulls in my experience painting is the lazy way out and youre just going to have to repaint every other year or so or more if u like beaching the cat or use it alot! heres the solution and it will save you some cash! go to your closest major fiberglass supplier ie. not west marine their is distributors all over or go online to fiberglassflorida.com and order from their but anyway get 1 gallon of polyester gelcoat white of course not the tooling. then 1 gallon of durtatec clear high gloss additive mix these 2 together equal parts 1:1 if you want a diffrent color than pure white mix in the pigment now you can usually get it all in the same place you buy your gelcoats and resins anyway back to the project once everything is mixed 1:1 go buy a cheap vertical drop spray gun from harbor freight or discount auto 15 bucks is usually what they cost. now sand the boat down nice and smooth fill in cracks and make repairs as needed once done wipe boat with acetone and clean rag. now mix up a batch of the 1:1 mix with your catalyst use a measuring device dont eye ball it youll probably end up kicking the gelcoat to fast and ruin you spray gun if you eye ball the measurments. now spray your hull nice and neat any runs sand down and do 4 or 5 coats. of this or more if u want each gallon will do 100sq ft so 2 gallons which you will have will do 200sq ft more than any beach cat by about 8x . now once you got your coats done sand out inperfections do touch up and go sail !!! the gallon of gelcoat will be 40bucks the duratec about 90 the spray gun 15 plus cups ect probably around 200 bucks and youll do it the right way if you got questions call me i do fiberglass for a living! email and ill send you my number if needed zachhansman89@yahoo.com

Well, looks like that bottom job will have to wait until springGuess I'll have to break out the Foxpro and the coyote rifle...what....you think I'm going to sit here and watch sailing videos all winter???
One of my winter projects is to put new seals (all five) on my two drysuits. Parts and glue look to be about $140 per suit. Anyone have a preferred vendor?

I am going to blend two H17s. Many of the parts I want to keep are on the hulls that need to be structurally corrected. I have two very solid hulls that need a bottom job, just a bit too many beach scratches. I want to do the gel coat on the bottoms only. There are not many scratches on the sides. I am also concerned about weight. I am hoping to apply new gelcoat to the bottoms and about 6 inches up each side of each hull. I will try to mask and then blend the new gel up the sides. zachhansman89 gives good advise on spraying the whole bottom of the hulls. Do you think it makes since to do just the bottoms and a little up the sides? It is extra work with masking and blending the spray. But then I don't need to prep the entire bottom and sides.
I'm getting the A cat painted and I'm putting a spinnaker on my Supercat 15. I'm also working on a 48" X 48" RC trimaran. Pictures will definitely follow...
I bought new sails for the P18, should have them in January. I will hold them in my lap lovingly, stroking them with abandon, waiting for April.
I am on my third 1980s era boat, and these are my first new sails ever. Square tops too. I crawled away from Hobie 16s in previous years, hope I can smoke them now. Woohoo.
new standing rigging, some fresh lines here and there, new fasteners for crossbars and rudder gudgeons, mild tramp repairs, waterproof vhf, and a few things i haven't planned on(of course!)...LOOK OUT DAUPHIN ISLAND RACE!!!

Also getting new sails. For my P19.
Local sailloft (mariner-sails) is thrilled that they get to build something cool instead of typical white monohull sails.
Looking sexy, Uwe!!!

Mine will be (mostly) dark blue on the top and bottom, with a white, red, white panels in the middle. Inspired by the letter C:
1. trying to figure out how to make my 30 year old gelcoat on the hobie 16 i have owned for 25 years to shine.
2. flat tire on trailer
3. one of the rudder cams needs replacing
the fun to cost ratio for this boat has been incredible. i imagine at some time i will get something faster, after my youngest loses interest, i know i can still rig and sail this one by myself.
banana yellow with orange crush sail.
oh and i have a couple of monohulls i need to have ready by the spring, a laser and a banshee.
Fix my rudders, fix various dings, gelcoat, get a real trailer instead of a homemade one and install portholes. Oh yeah, a new mast would be fantastic!
I'm posting this up just for the satisfaction of coming back in May and adding "Done" next to all of this. I was given a "free" P16 that is in pretty good shape but sat under a tree and tarp since 1995. So here is my extensive list of reviving a classic.
Hulls
Delam both sides rear x member to rudders
Keels epoxy and glass
topside / side gouges fill and fare
One deep nick silver dollar size - epoxy from outside add glass from the inside since I can reach it
Replace Inspection ports
Paint or Gel Coat- I want to keep it powder blue so still thinking
replace plugs
Sails / Tramp - Already at sailmaker
Jib -new zipper
Main/Jib restitch pin hole repair
Tramp / Patch
Battens repair or replace cracked ones. I'm leaning towards replacing the longest and cutting down the rest.
Rigging
Standing - order new
Running - Order new- Sta-Set + Salsa Main sheet ( still thinking on this one) + main Halyard wire
Traps - New wire / shock cord / blocks
Tramp lace kit
Hawaiian Righting system + bag
Blocks
Mashead Sheves - Replaced
Main / jib clean and lube
Spars & Cross Members
water test for leaks
replace nylon ball joint
replace mast cleat
re-rivit traveler to x member
Re-tighten / Check / Adjust Dolphin striker
Rudders
Fare a few nicks
Paint
Replace Port casting
Re-reg up down lines / replace sheves
free up SS pintles in Aluminum gudgeons
tiller extension - home brew for now
Other odds and ends
Rescue knife(s)
waterproof blue tooth speakers. Keep the droid in the hulls and tunes on the tramp.
Trap Harness - Maybe by the end of the season
Plus everything else I forgot.
April / May is going to be a marathon to get this all done by Memorial Day, but I got my wetsuit ready to roll and 4 months to plan and prepare. I see the most major task as being the hulls, specifically painting - I really wish I had a garage.
Needless to say I've got a spreadsheet running with all my needed parts / measurements and a growing pile of parts in the basement.

A late summer project ended up being an early winter project, now it's too cold for my crew. Added a spin to my N500, ordered from Nacra. Also wanting to add updated graphics to the boat.

I would love to put a hooter on my P18 sometime but doubt it will be this year. Is anyone has one just sitting around that they want to donate though I might be interested.

Sail at Christmas-day, its around 8 degrees Celsius overhere.
Install my new Go Pro HD Hero2 on the cat, ( it's a Christmasgift from my wife, discovered it to early) .
Train as long the weather permits us, have a new sailmate and we want to do the round Texel-race this
summer. We both have dry-suits.
RE-install the 4-way jibsheet arrangement on the P18-2.
Sort out the rules in the texelyardstick about having a spi on a P18-2.
If so, arrange the blocks and snuffer on the cat.
Sort out how to put photo's in a post at the beachcat forum,
witch I will try right now;
You nearly had it, you made a mistake lots of people do by using the page url instead of the image url. Edit your post and you can see the difference in the one I added.
