Is the 1978 Prindle 16 the same as a 1976 Prindle 16 as far as interchangeable parts??

good question! i don't know for sure but i do know 2 things that could be different...the early models didn't have the ports in the hulls(tramp cut outs) and the jib halyard(wire luff?) changed also. not sure what years they took place. i have a '77-'79 model...meaning it's a '77 complete boat with a '79 starboard hull. most everything on the boat should cross over though, '76 and '78 are real close in time...although my '77 hull has a slightly different profile around the deck lid/hull joint but this doesn't effect anything. there is a guy on this site pbeagle i think who is the man on prindle. good luck!
