I am looking at a 89 h17 for purchase. I have had many sailboats including h18 and wave. What I would like to know is are there any problem areas that I should look for when I inspect the h17. Thanks in advance.

Nothing more than any other boat. I'd check the hulls below the rollers (tend to crack there, but still may want to buy it); Sail condition as there are not many used ones out there in good shape (read: need to buy new); Wing frame, again, hard to find; Most hulls will leak at wing tubes so plan on fixing that; etc, etc...
