We first have to try and understand what you mean by "rudder control bar". The rudders are held in place by the "rudder casting", these castings are attached to the transom of each hull at the gudgeons using a pin. To control the rudders you have the "tiller" or "tiller tubes" or "tiller arms", because there are 2 tillers on a catamaran and we don't want them operating independently, they are connected together by the "tiller crossbar". All this hardware should not interfere with the "traveler car" which is situated on the rear crossbeam, the only time there will be interference is when you have an "extension stick" attached to the "tiller crossbar". If you are learning to sail your P16, take the tiller extension off untill such time as you are ready to go out on the wire. Otherwise, you will find the Prindle manual under Photo Albums, go to Catamaran Technical Tips.
