Registration for the Macho Man is available to everyone, but:
Must be at least 2 persons on each boat.
This year we're going to score the big race.
Since it's inception it's been a “run what ya brung” no rules, first one to Dunedin Causeway wins.
This year Tampa Bay Cat Sailors is going to run this as a two day event.
Day one, Lemans start from Davis Island sea plane basin to Dunedin Causeway. Start time 8 AM. The distance is approx 75 miles.
If you ever wanted to try a long race this would be a good one.
Only two person boats will be allowed for this race.
Trophies given for top three places and one for line honors.
Registration includes one T-Shirt and two drink tickets good at Cricketers, a pub located on the Causeway. They will also have an appetizer bar set up for us, a private section for race participants, and an outstanding band (Tribal Style). We will do the Trophy presentations there.
We will also do registration for the Mini Macho at the same time. For those that register for the Mini Macho this will be a pre-race party.
Registration will be at Davis Island Friday March 23rd from 4pm to 7pm and Saturday morning starting at 6 am. Important: If you do not reach the Dunedin Causeway by 5:00pm, please contact the Race Committee. Contact info will be given after email registration.

Start/Finish: Dunedin Causeway – Next to Honeymoon Island
Registration: Saturday Afternoon with RC on the Causeway and at
Cricketers after the big race the night before. Skipper’s Meeting:
10:00am Start: 11:00am Cost: $30 TBCS members $5 off.
Day two, this will be a distance race circling Caladesi Island and Clearwater Beach. If
the breeze is up some additional distance will be added. This is a course that gives
open water (the Gulf) and a technical leg (skinny water) St. Joseph Sound.
This race is open to all boats. There will be three classes, High, Low Portsmouth and
Spin.
Trophies three deep per class.
Registration will be Saturday afternoon with the race committee on the Causeway and
at Cricketers after the big race.
You are encouraged to register at the beach or at Cricketers. Skipper and crew will
receive a drink ticket good at Cricketers. There will also be an appetizer bar.
