Looks like the P18 needs some attention.

I turned the P18 over the other day to find a nasty ding that is into the glass that I think I am going to have to give some attention to. There are other older ones but none as serious. The first pic is the one I just found, It is right in the middle on the inside of the hull near the keel. Also the bottoms really need some attention. This just the one side.

I have heard many say you need to use polyester for a bottom job. I all ready have most of the Wests for a injection repair on the H17 so I really don't want to buy poly also. Anybody think it is a big deal to add some glass to the bottoms with wests. I do hope to add some gelcoat to it. What do I need to do extra to make it work?

Actually you would want to use west sytems or similar epoxy below the water line and not polyester. According to Don Casey. Hope that helps.
