Ya, it's a pile of shit, don't waste your time. It was described to me as a dirty but solid boat, and acted like we could take it out on the water of we wanted, I gave him a $100 deposit based on that and drove up last night. It's a very old and tired 5.2 that appears to have been submerged as the inside of the hull is covered in mud and the entire gel coat is blistered. There is numerous soft spots around both beams with heavy cracking, the entire hull aft of the rear beam was straight mush. I told them to keep the deposit as a donation to their club told them it was a 17ft 5.2 and that the hulls were toast. Before I left I spotted a pile of h16 rigging and beams, rudders ECT and took that home instead.
They had no other boats to sell at this time.
