How do I removed a cat trax wheel/hub?

I'm trying to remove a wheel from my cat trax but have run into a problem. I have removed the outer plastic end cap and pulled out the cotter pin but now the rubber "fire hose" is the only thing keeping the wheel on. Do I have to removed the "fire hose" to get it off? Is it glued down? I wasn't able to easily slide it off.

i have no idea but do you have the new or old style?
The hose is probably preventing the hub from coming off the axle. It should not be glued on but know knows if you got them used.
I had to remove the hose off to get mine off the axle. It's a pain but it did come off. I used the bike handle bar grip method of removal.

I always pull them apart from the middle and then take the wheel off inboard, They are bolted together so it is much easier than removing the outer rubber or cradle, etc. HTH, Ricardo.

I don't think mine are bolted together in the middle. I think its all one piece.

If I could remove the hose cover from the end, I could slide it all off. Looks like mine is glued on. I could cut it off, but does anyone know where I could buy a similar hose around town? Tractor Supply? Ace Hardware? Lowes? I may go out shopping for hoses here soon.

It's probably not glued on just stuck. I ave an old set in my shed that the hose won't budge. I've briefly tried by using a screwdriver to pry it but no luck. The hose ends from Florida Sailcraft aren't that expensive, you'll prob have to cut it off. I looks like its some kind of large diameter radiator hose of some sort, you could probably find it from another source if you look around enough...

I found the exact hose at ACE Hardware. Slightly more expensive than Florida Sailcraft but now I don't have to wait for shipping.
