Furling Jib for H16

Looking for a furling jib for H16, doing the Everglades Challenge in a few months and they require a furlable jib.

Anyone looking to get rid of one or know someone who does?

Cheers!

very common on the h14, came as standard on the h18

but i've never seen 1 on an h16

it's a BIG fully battened jib and the h16 basically is very difficult to sail without a jib

so you may not find a h16 furling jib in time and be forced to make something else fit
Hobie sells a kit, and several sailmakers will make one.

Here is a photo of an aftermarket H16 furling jib on top of a standard H16 jib. As you can see, there is a decent size loss in square footage. It's been 8 years or so since I owned it, but I did love the convience in having a furling jib on my H16 (and later on my P18 and P19)

I agree the furling jib is the best thing I have added to my P18

Jmhoying ...there is a decent size loss in square footage.

Did you use a barber hauler offwind to help shape the smaller jib?
