Removing old rubber from side rails

Im removing the nasty ol rubber from the H16 side rails with a chisel and goo gone.

Any better ways out there?

I would suggest not using a chisel, it will gouge the gelcoat, get one of those plastic ice-scrapers with a solid edge. Unfortunately there is no short-cut to this type of miserable task, you just have to git-r-dun!!! You can try soaking a small area with acetone, let it sit for a while and then try removing the non-slip rubber. Once the majority of the rubber has been removed you can hit it with the goo-b-gone.

I think this is aluminum trampoline frame not the hulls.

I would try scraper with sharp razor blade to cut as much rubber as possible. Then wire weel and goo gone to remove what is left.

Good catch there Adam, I forgot that on the H16 the grip-strip is placed on the aluminum rails....... doh
