Are you looking to do this on the H16 or H18? Research or google hooter, typical of what has been done for a furling head sail. On the beach cat, a standard furling drum would work for furling the screecher/hooter, while the sail sheet would be use to unfurl. If you do use the RS006400R let us know how it works. I'm curious to see the results. I'm also curious to see how you manage the continuous furling line on board the boat.

I will be setting it up on the H18 with an SX mast.

I'm also curious to see how I will manage the continuous line LOL, still working on that one, but I have a few ideas. I am thinking of a very simple block on a bungee cord, just don't know if 26 feet will be long enough, spin pole is 12.5' and that will only get the line to the tramp, 13' half of the 26, so we will see.

I should have it all set up in about two months, I will let you guys know.

I've been watching the AC45's and have been studying their layout. They run their continuous sheet on each side of the tramp to the rear beam and then through a block on each side, one mounted starboard of center, the other mounted port of center. Make's sense, as it would prevent the line from twisting around itself if you used just a single block at the back. Can you order a longer sheet?

Yes they sell a longer one, I just didn't want to splice it. But that sounds like a good set up and might be worth the little extra work.

I take it, it is run on either side of the mast as well?

I will just get it started with the single block set up to give it a try, I will let you guys know how well it works. I should be testing in about 8 weeks.

Yes, either side of the mast. They have fairleads on the front beam to keep the line from getting into other stuff on the beams.
