Looking to buy a Nacra 5.2... whats a decent price?

so i am in the market for another catamaran since i sold my other 2 solcats. i found what appears to be a decent Nacra 5.2 in the local classifieds here. 1980 with beach wheels.

http://www.ksl.com/index.…earch=catamaran&ad_cid=3

i really dont know anything about the nacra and i have never owned, sailed or even seen one up close. I was just curious if $800 is a decent price.

what are some things i should look for in this particular boat?

Yes with the beach wheels more than fair. It does not tolerate weight very well, when you get around 350 pounds it slows appreciatively. It is very wet as my wife can attest. However they are not prone to pitchpole and are easy to sail. I would buy it.

v,
found these 5.2's on yakaz.com search engine ("nacra for sale")
seems like $1,000-$1,500 is a pretty avg price for a 5.2 from what i recall.

if you want a boat that can carry more weight and test your metal, see this:

i may be partial to nacra but they are great boats if they're maintained and not abused.
