large righting bag and tackle from Murrays.com
That I have. I'm looking for the righting system, Yes doing it myself.
I like the quick deploying of the Hawaiian system, when it's the correct length, one or both crew can hook in quickly. Works fine with the righting bag. I have a pocket sewn on the bottom of the tramp for the bag, again for quick deployment. I also have had great results with a drift sock in high winds, also stored in the pocket.
sorry, just don't understand how a "system" could be of benefit.
you already have a bag and a line to hang on.

if you can't grip it, tie a quick loop in it and hook onto it with your harness.

I have a righting pole that I don't use that I'll sell you. Very nice. Includes a professional SS mounting bracket and joint.

I hate righting poles. Righting the boat is all about the proper technique.

I'm pretty sceptical as well. Just more drilling for questionable benefit. Thanks for the responses. I think I'll buy the Hawaiian system and find a good place to stow the bag for easy access.
