The boat is in the 400lb ballpark- H16 hulls alone are a 320lbs plus your frame, rig and whatever box of smelly wetsuits is strapped to the trailer. And of course the spare tire :)
A typical steel trailer for one of these will be around 300-400 lbs; a home-made one will likely to be heavier unless you are a metal fabricator.
The registry cares most about the GVW, so you will tell them the combined weight of the trailer plus the maximum load it can safely haul.
Listing your GVW as 1000lbs is a safe bet. It's better to overestimate than underestimate.
