I have loved catamarans since I was a kid, I have decided that I want to learn to sail. I know there is a place in Hood River that offers lessons (catamaran lessons).
I was wondering if there are any groups out here in Oregon.

Also looking for lessons or experienced cat sailor to teach in Portland area
Planning to buy h18 with wings or something similar to use with daughters to sail with long term interest to be competent enough to take wife out on Columbia east of Cascade locks.
also for use as a floating swim platform/party boat for teenage kids and friends over school vacation.
Key is to maintain (or arguably achieve), marital harmony for family sailing by not scaring anyone.

My crew aboard the F16 and the ARC22, is a Musto skiff guy who just bought a place in Cascade Locks, so he can sail all summer there(he's a teacher, tough life!). Pm me and I'll connect you two, he'll jump and most any opportunity to sail. And he's a good catsailor.
