I've moved to Nice, CA on the shore of Clear Lake CA and recently bought a Hobie 16 '81 and a Hobie 17 '86 . Fantastic, huge lake with good wind. Don't see many cats on it, but I figured I'd try to find some like minded sailors locally from this post. First sail on the 16 was yesterday with the wife. Still working on the 17, but it's close to being completed. Also, if anyone has any thoughts on the best place to launch in the North Bay Area, preferably with a beach close by the ramp I would be appreciative.
