I was sailing here in the Okanagan last Saturday, although it was in the Pirateer, not the P16. It was 5 degrees C.
18 kt winds. There was a little ice on shore. -19 this weekend so I doubt I'll be out.

Ok, so you might have sand at your lakeshore, but it was 85* here in Phoenix. We hit lake pleasant at 7:00am Witt temps In the low 60s and moderate winds. Did dent even bother with the wetsuit.
i have friends in phoenix azcat and i get the same from them....winter is ok but it's cool here too only 70 degrees today....hope you had a great sail...turkey day at the beach today, turkey on the grill and everybody brings a dish to pass, our club has been doing this the saturday after thanksgiving fo about 15 years and sometimes the weather can be a challenge but we always have a great time....if we do get on the water after the turkey, i'll get some pics up....have a great day....
That's a hell of a commitment from your club members. I think generally, crazy aunts and someone else's obnoxious kids usually trump boats and lakes. I would definitely be in Divorce court by the second attempt. I hope all had a great turkey day, watched some Football, and kept your cats dry one hull at a time.
11/30/14 lake ontario hilton ny....me and captain don on his h18....air temp about 60 deg water temp a comfy 48 deg....definitely wetsuit conditions....
thanx damon...we've been known to party at the beach on new's day too. i live right there so early morning i'll take a bottle of champagne down to the beach, chop a hole in the shore ice and drop it in. by the time everybody gets there...it's nice and chilled.....but no sailing on that day....but there's always a nice bon fire to keep comfy by...
