Nacra 5.2 Forward deck removal

Today I started the task of repairing a small crack in the hull of my Nacra 5.2. After just a little bit of sanding it became very apparent that the damage was extensive enough that for the repair to be strong I would have to work from inside the hull. Because the damage was forward of the front crossbar I decided the best way to access the hull was to remove the deck. I had never done this before but figured the hull was so bad I could not possibly make it any worse.

I started with a 5 inch hammer head Red Devil putty knife and a hammer and about 45 minutes later the deck was off.
