Drop main traveler down 6 to 18 inches, crack main and jib sheets to maintain tell tails flowing on both side of main and jib, steer to keep the hull kissing the water. It's hard to get much more specific than that. A beam reach can constitute a fairly large range of angles relative to the wind. If you're going deep, you may want to also crack the downhaul, pull up the boards, and ease off the rotation. If it's windy, you would have the skipper sitting on the rear crossbar and the crew on the wire straddling the skipper.
