Hawaiian Righting System

I need to replace the return shock cord on the Hawaiian style of righting system that I have on my H16 and would like some suggestions about what size shock cord should be used. The cord that is currently installed seems a bit small and needs to be replaced. Thanks for any suggestions.

1/4" minimum, 3/8" if it will run in the blocks involved.

Thank you. I think the one I have is 1/4" because it looks very thin. I discovered that at the rear block it had frayed and is barely hanging on by a couple of rubber bands. I think I would go with the thicker stuff for sure.

Look for Marine Grade bungee.
It will last longer than the cheap imported stuff.
