Sol Cat 20

There's a 'Sol Cat 20' locally... hadn't heard of this, but Google supports that a few did exist. Any feedback?
Google also says 10' wide and 40' mast. Uh, 40 FEET?

I have an H18, but a cheap (sure, that could happen!) side project might be fun.

I think this is a different boat... this one is in Northern California, and doesn't have much info listed (same orange, but then again, it was the 70s). I've texted the seller for more info or a time to visit and check it out... no response yet.

What really piqued my curiosity was here: http://sailboatdata.com/viewrecord.asp?class_id=7120
It just doesn't seem possible that waterline-to-mast-top could be 40. In the mid-70's , they weren't really thinking THAT profile yet. Probably a typo.

There's a Supercat tall rig that's been kicking around the 'net for a while, currently on fleabay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/S…UM4AAOSw2gxYoMUI&vxp=mtr
I'm pretty sure that's the same 38.5' stick (and rigging, and sails) advertised here:
https://www.thebeachcats.…c-sails-2c-rigging.htmlI have no sensible reason to own this rig, but still, inexplicably, I lust for it. icon_lol Self-abusive tendencies, methinks.

40' tall stick on this boat? Doubtful. 10' wide I believe, though. :p
Still, I have some room in the sideyard...
