We will be throwing the 30th Annual Juana Good Time Regatta - Covid Style. Weekend after Labor Day, as usual, September 11, 12, 13, 2020. Here’s the plan: We are in the process of ironing out all the details on how we can do this race safely and still keep the good time atmosphere. I’m pretty sure we will have a smaller turn-out, for obvious reasons, but so far we’ve gotten about 20 registrations, and there’s still a month to go, so we will have a race one way or the other!

Our plan will be to have everything outdoors. The REGISTRATION WILL BE ALL ON-LINE WITH NO FRIDAY NIGHT REGISTRATION AVAILABLE, and Friday night, 6-8, will be package pick-up. All of the registrants’ shirts, wrist bands, and maybe any swag will be in bags labeled with names, so they can just check in and grab labeled bags. Skippers meetings and trophy presentation will be on the beach with PA up on the deck so there’s spread-out room down below.

Malibu will be the only sponsor and will send a rep to give drink discounts and swag. There will be no buffets, but participants will get a free meal ticket good for Juana Bites or breakfast. Juana’s will close at 10pm, but we will have some live music on the deck In the evenings and drink specials for registered racers all weekend.

And sadly, there will be no Wave Timed class this year.
