"We were on a starboard tack around the windward mark once we were just overstanding we jibed headed for the leeward buoy after we launched the chute the bows began to dig so we moved aft and got hit by a puff the clew halyard broke and caused the spinnaker to broach, we then packed the kite and were still headed to the leeward mark when we launched the spinny again a gust hit and we pitchpoled, luckily the trap gear released and the boat only capsized, after righting we stuffed the chute on a port jibe in whitecaps and made it around the leeward mark, we buried the boards and double trapped on a port tack headed windward to the finish line, we got a lift- hit our layline, tacked to starboard trapped out again and flew a hull calling rule "10" the whole way in to bullet the regatta"
