If you are the adventurous type there is a public boat ramp in Cherry Grove, 14.1 miles north of your hotel (see link below) at 53rd Ave N that is protected from the ocean. If you time the tide right (and if the wind is out of the west-northwest quadrant, you can launch from the boat ramp and sail out of Hog Inlet into the Atlantic and then down to your hotel. The inlet is shallow but with the H16 it will not be a problem.
