The sand there is as soft and white as powdered sugar. I'm sure it still wears away a little gelcoat, but takes years, especially on the Hobie 16.
You wouldn't do that on other beaches where the "sand" is made almost 100% of broken shells and pebbles. (not saying where a beach like that may be :evil: )[/quote]
