Turbo hobo...don't spend the $$ til I PM you (or get my ass in gear & finish editing the Tech Album that I promised Damon I would do almost a year ago) regarding converting to a roller furler. It was the simplest of times, it was the worst of times. When I did it, many folk gave me advice,(they meant well, & knew what they were doing, or had done,( the problem is there are several dozen ways to skin this cat, & there are dozens of permutations, & almost no one else has the "best" way to do it for YOUR Cat. Even ,"what does the end of your bridal wires look like", makes a difference).
You need to analyze what you have (my background is also science & engineering)& go from there. And I'm not BSing you, read my dissertation that everyone else slagged, where I was trying to explain a technical subject to the unwashed masses...where was that Damon? I can't see the "my posts" anymore, ha ha maybe I don't want to8-) I gotta go to bed, it's 1:16 p.m. the next day here, we've been up for 27 hrs...I thin I have to work a long shift soon.
