I have found using this disclaimer does not help when you bring a non-sailing person on board (i.e. a date)
they don't seem to understand "Loud" = important, not mad
i had a girlfriend on the boat and I got a little loud when she did something very wrong (i can't recall what it was, but i assume it was failing to give me rum when it was 100% NEEDED) but i got a little loud and she started to cry. the day didn't go well...[/quote]
