Organizing Authority: Ocean Springs Yacht Club
Venue: Spectacular Mississippi Sound at OSYC, Ocean Springs, MS
Rules: The regatta will be Buoy Racing governed by the rules as defined in the Racing Rules of Sailing.
Penalties: RRS 44.1 is changed so that only one turn, including one tack and one jibe, is required.
Classes: Nacra 20.
Entry Fees: $20
Measurement: Boats will not be weighed or measured at the event.
Trophies: No trophies, just bragging rights
Scoring: The Low Point Scoring System of Appendix A of the RRS will apply, (except that a boat’s worst score will not be discarded unless 5 races are completed).
Disclaimer of liability: Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. See RRS 4, Decision to Race. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during, or after the regatta.
