If the question is:
Do you HAVE to have gaskets on the hulls?
NO you dont have to, but without a gasket, water will shoot up and spray out the board wells.
It is also VERY slow
you can order new gaskets from http://www.apsltd.com (i call them center board slot tape, not sure what aps calls them) -
