Sent the $, will be there with my two sons. Looking forward to having fun at our first "regatta". Go easy on the new boys! Dont leave us too far behind.......
The brothers from Ohio will be there. My son is also coming with us and bringing his Hobie 16, we are stacking 2 of the boats, i hope that works out ok. That will make 3 boats in the TepeRacing stable.... kinda intimidating. I look forward to seeing everyone from last year as well as meeting new friends!
I will be there but only as a spectator although I may consume a few beers while enjoying the scenery.
Why just spectate? There will probably be other Getaways and also some rental Waves that you can kick around.
but if you do decide not to race you can still score free and discounted beer, as well as dinner and a t-shirt by registering as a non-racer for $35. http://juanaspagodas.com/…egatta_entry_revised.pdf

If I mail it tomorrow there is no way it will be there by the 5th. Is there any other way to pay VS. snail mail? I am not going to race, just spectate.
I think the hull integrity was compromised beforehand. Ron had just gotten some work done on one of the hulls where the trailor roller had put a dent in the bottom. That bad part was it broke about a minute from the finish line. After he had been hard sailing for a good hour. Helping him take it apart wasn't the most fun either
At least they stayed with the boat, I fell off and watched the boat sail away with a non sailing crew. I had showed him how to furl the jib and heave to which he did about a half a mile from me. I was fished out of the pass by a Hobie 16 and taken back to my boat.
