Who is in the San Diego area? It would be great to put some names with the boats in the water. -

Come on San Diego sailors! I know you are here, according to Google Analytics, San Diego brings the second most visitors from California, next to Los Angeles.

We'll be putting a Prindle 16 in the water at Chula Vista Marina ramp around 10:00 Wed, the 18th for a couple rookie 20 yr olds. The back or South bay is best place to sail cats in S. D. Pete -

I sailed south SD bay many years ago but we put in from the beach on the strand. I checked out the ramp at Chula Vista a while back but it did not look very Cat friendly. How did it go? -

Adam, just got back from a week in San Diego, I have sailed Mission bay before the Sail Bay side this time we stayed on the east side near Bay Park. There is a launch ramp just off Clairemont Dr. that has sandy beach either side of the ramp. We would launch and walk the cat maybe 20'to the beach and finish raising the sails very convenient. There where Maybe 6 cats out on Sunday. The down side on the weekend was the PWC's but they stayed putty much clear of us but did kick up a lot of waves. During the week it was wide open. Would like to make it down there again this summer nice warm water.
