TCDYC is having a Hull flying contest see info below.
There is going to be a hull flying contest late on Saturday afternoon of Red Fish Reach (Idea hatched over some beers last night).
$5 to enter the rodeo - winner takes all. Less than the price of a big mac meal to prove you are the hull flying king. This has to be the ultimate contest for those who aren't big time buoy racers.
Format:
Two buoys a foot ball field apart, adjacent to the dike.
Competitors park up on one side of the course by the chase boat
Chase boat calls you in one at a time
You have to keep a hull up between the two buoys - If you touch down - you are out.
Everyone who flies a hull between the buoys goes on to the next round.
If no one is being knocked out the spacing between the buoys will be increased.
Last boat standing takes the pot.
Comments & suggestions?
Chris.

That does sound like fun. Wish I could be there also. Hopefully you have steady enough wind for people to enjoy it.
