Hi all-
I recently was able to purchase a 1976 Solcat 18 from a local guy that was all but giving it away. While I have sailed dinghys in the past, this is my first catamaran and I am really looking forward to trying it out. I appreciate all of the info that I have found here, and I was wondering if anyone might know were the Hull Identification Number is located on a Solcat. The seller had lost the title, and I have everything (paperwork, etc) to get a new title minus this piece of info.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much-

I don't know Solcats, but many others stamp it into the stern, near the rudder gudgeons.

The hull number on my solcat is stamped on the starboard hull next the rudder. it runs up and down on the outside of the gudgeons as edchris177 mentioned.
Where will you be sailing?

Thanks so much for the info, that helps a lot.
I'll be sailing in Oregon. I live just outside the Portland area. The Gorge is great and only a little ways away, but the winters are a little lacking when it comes to sailing weather..
Thanks again-
