I bought an 18 Magnum this summer. One of the daggerboards is sticking and will not slide in the last 10". The other daggerboard fits perfectly on both sides. How do I fix it? What exactly is the problem? They are in great shape with no nicks or places where water could create swelling. I am pretty handy so I am game to take on anything....I hope. THANKS! -

Does the board stick while the boat is on the trailer and everything is clean? While holding the board vertical in the trunk it should slide up and down freely hardly touching anything, if it can't be held and slid easily up and down then either the trunk is too small because of damage or excess caulk, or the board is damaged or repaired and has become too thick.
If you switch boards to the opposite side does the problem stay on the same side?
