Happy 4th everybody!
I had my maiden voyage yesterday on my new to me 5.0 gcat. While making my first tack, the part that is in boom cap that connects the front of the boom to the mast snapped! I do not have a spare or even know what that part is called. Any body know where to find this part or a place or person that may have G-Cat parts? Thank you!
G-Cat 5.0 front boom part?

Post a pic of the gooseneck and attachment on the mast. It's usually relatively simple task to adapt one from another boat.

Murry's marine, in there catalog it is on page 26. It is called the boom pin w/roll pin $15. I just altered mine on my G-cat 5.0, I placed a sleeve over the boom pin between the inside of the boom cap and the pin that holds the boom pin in. The reason for this is because the boom had so much play and would slam all over the place. Good Luck, Dustin -

Thank you Dustin. Yes I did notice a lot of play in the boom when I took it of for its first sail. Do you have any pics of what you did to yours to better assist me? Thanks!
