I don't know for sure about the event details, but the Buzzards Bay Race Week is typically in the first or second week of August. I believe there used to be a large beach cat contingent that participated in the event. I know there's a larger multihull class or two and am familiar with a few boats that normally participate. I believe the race events are put on by both the New Bedford Yacht Club and the Beverly Yacht Club in Marion. NEMA (New England Multihull Association) may also have some information or at least a pointer to the primary organizer. It is happening very soon, so you'll need to act quick and make sure you're prepared. But maybe you asked just in time.
